"Saturated" and most of my gold work has been inspired by my time in Ireland. While working on a missions/service trip, I was encouraged by a pastor to "look for the gold" in people. We all have those things inside of us that make us great. I continue to be challenged by that when I meet new people or interacting with my loved ones. In my artwork, I see gold as having this emerging quality that goes beyond high contrast or bright colors. It immediately grabs attention, it's special.
